Where does the time go?

I spent most of yesterday banging on the keyboard working on my next e-book and had only 31 pages to show for it.

Well, stuff takes time. I did get interrupted now and then, but basically it's just checking stuff, re-checking, organizing, re-organizing.. and the hours drain away.

There's no time left until after Xmas. Our daughter is coming up with her husband; they'll be here all week and we'll be playing a lot of Scrabble and having other visitors and going out to eat and having more people in for dinner here.. no time for work.

And now that big snowstorm is supposed to hit us starting today.. our daughter is driving up from Virginia so she's going to postpone that at least a day.. so that will make the schedule tighter.

Anyway - I may not be posting much here next week. If I drag my butt out of bed early, maybe, but my daughter usually keeps me up late playing Scrabble so I might sleep in. She says she's been practising and studying dictionaries and is ready to beat me.. we'll see.

I lost $8.20 at Poker last night.. was doing well early on but then got tired and stupid. It's not easy to lose that much at dime ante stakes, but I did it!
